Ingredients
- 1 fluid ounce gin
- 1 fluid ounce sweet vermouth
- 1 fluid ounce Campari
- Orange slice and peel, for garnish
- Ice
Measurement Conversions: 1 fl oz = 1 shot = 30ml
How To Make
- In a mixing glass, add ice, gin, vermouth and Campari. Stir until well chilled.
- Strain into a rocks glass filled with fresh ice.
- Express the oil of an orange peel by twisting over the glass or rubbing around the rim, then garnish with an orange slice.
Notes
- The Gin to Vermouth to Campari Ratio - the classic recipe calls for equal parts of each. However, that was created a century ago and modern palates have since changed. An alternative variation would be 1½ fluid ounces gin, 1 fluid ounce sweet vermouth and ¾ fluid ounces Campari.
